Prayer Bridge ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the Prayer Bridge mobile application.

• Account information: email address and display name when you register or sign in with Google.
• Prayer requests and lists: content you create, share, or receive within the app.
• Device information: device type and OS version for crash reporting and diagnostics.
• Usage data: anonymous analytics to improve app performance.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the Prayer Bridge service.
• To authenticate your account and keep it secure.
• To enable sharing of prayer requests with people you invite.
• To send local notifications you configure (reminders stay on your device).
• To diagnose crashes and improve app stability.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal information. Your data may be shared only in these circumstances:

• Firebase (Google): We use Firebase for authentication, database, and crash reporting. Data is stored on Google's secure infrastructure.
• People you invite: Prayer requests or lists you explicitly share are visible to the recipients you choose.
• Legal requirements: If required by law or to protect our rights.

4. Data Retention

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time from the app's Settings screen, which permanently removes your personal data from our systems within 30 days.

5. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including Firebase Security Rules, encrypted connections (TLS), and authenticated access controls. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we strive to protect your data.

6. Children's Privacy

Prayer Bridge is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have, please contact us immediately.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy periodically. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

8. Request Account & Data Deletion

You can delete your account directly from the app via Settings → Delete Account. This permanently removes your personal data from our systems within 30 days.
